Burglars Target Cricket Club

Burglars have stolen items and caused damage totalling over £1,000 at Gumley Cricket Club.

They smashed open doors to the pavilion and a storage shed before stealing a mower, strimmer, generator, tools, club kit and cricket bats.

The intruders even took the club’s noticeboard and urinated in the pavilion before leaving.

It happened late last night or during the early hours of today at the site off Laughton Road.
