Fundraising Drive Launched To Help Pensioner

A fundraising drive has been set-up to help the pensioner who fell victim to heartless distraction thieves in Market Harborough.

It follows Police today releasing a CCTV image of three people they want to speak to about the incident in the Waitrose Car Park last month.

An anonymous local person appalled at what happened has launch an on-line donation page, saying they want to ‘restore the 83 year old victim’s faith and trust in people ahead of Christmas.’

She had over £3000 stolen from her bank accounts after a man took her purse from her car boot while another man and woman asked her for directions on Wednesday November 14th at approximately 2.15pm.
