Work Begins On Welland Park Dog Walking Area Upgrades

Work is getting underway today to improve the dog walking area at Welland Park in Market Harborough.

Harborough District Council is carrying out upgrades, which include resurfacing and raising the paths to help with drainage.

To allow the work to take place, the eastern side of the area, near the Welland Park Road car park, will be closed for the rest of this week.

The other side of the path will then be shut for around a fortnight from next week.

Car parking will also be restricted in the park’s Welland Park Road car park, due to contractor materials and works vehicles.
