Severn Trent has deployed water tankers to Kibworth Harcourt in a bid to restore supplies.
People in parts of the village, as well as those in the Langtons and Glooston were left without water for over 23 hours yesterday – the third time since Sunday that taps ran dry.

The tankers are injecting water directly into a main so that pipes can be kept topped up.
The company has apologised to those affected by the outages, blaming demand for water being at a level ‘never seen before.’
A Severn Trent spokesman said: “We’ve been using tankers to refill our storage tanks around Market Harborough to help us deal with the incredibly high levels of demand we’ve been experiencing in the hot weather.
“We’d like to thank everyone in the area for their patience while we’ve worked hard to get everyone’s water back to normal.”
