Water Leak Shuts Key Route

A water leak has closed a main route in and out of Market Harborough.
Severn Trent Water is working to repair a burst main on Kettering Road, near Clack Hill.

The road is closed in both directions between the roundabout at the junction with Grayling Road, off the A6 and Coleridge Way.
However, the road is set to re-open later today, with temporary traffic lights to be put in place.
A Severn Trent spokesperson said: “We’re sorry for the disruption caused on Kettering Road, which has been closed due to a water main burst.
“Temporary traffic lights will be installed by the end of the day which will allow the road to be reopened, while our teams investigate the cause and work to fix the issue as soon as possible.”
