Warning Over Thomas Cook Refund Scam

Leicestershire Police say cruel scammers are targeting holidaymakers following the collapse of Thomas Cook.

Officers warning people about calls being made called by a company claiming to be Thomas Cook refund agents, asking for bank account details in order to give money back.

They say it’s a complete scam and no such information should be handed over.

Anyone who receives such a call is urged to report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
