Four Released On Bail After Car Stolen

Two men and two teenagers have been released on bail after being arrested following the theft of a car from the driveway of a house in Market Harborough early yesterday morning.

It followed a Police pursuit after the Range Rover, stolen from The Ridgeway at around 1.35am, was spotted by officers near Newton Harcourt shortly afterwards.

The pursuit ended when the car collided with a parked vehicle on the Eyres Monsell estate in Leicester.

Police say following a foot chase and assistance from a Police dog, two males, aged 16 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

Two men, aged 32 and 24, were also arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling and theft, after a car believed to be linked to the incident was stopped in Blaby.

They have been released on bail while enquiries into the incident continue.
