Warning Over Great Bowden Rd Disruption

There will be disruption for drivers using Great Bowden Road between Market Harborough and Great Bowden for over two months from the New Year as work gets underway to upgrade the railway bridge.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place from January 2^nd as only single file traffic will be able to pass over it.

And from January 12th the road will be completely closed on Saturday nights.

Network Rail is behind the work – it is linked with the line speed improvement through Market Harborough.
