Villagers in Husbands Bosworth and Fleckney have voted to adopt their village’s Neighbourhood Plans.
Referendums were held yesterday, with residents overwhelmingly supporting the documents, which map out where future housing developments should go, and will be considered in any planning applications.
In Fleckney, 1021 people voted in favour of the plan, 160 against, with a 31.5% turnout.
303 villagers voted for Husbands Bosworth’s plan, with 42 against – the turnout was 35.8%
