VASL looking for female volunteers

Could YOU be a “Community Champion”?

Voluntary Action South Leicestershire is currently looking for female volunteers who are able and willing to help people in the Harborough
District who’re feeling lonely or isolated.

Given COVID considerations, the charity’s manager, Maureen O’Malley says, if you prefer, it could start with making ‘phone calls, rather
than face-to-face visits.

She’s appealing to any ladies who have a little bit of spare time on their hands each week – to ring an older lady for a chat to make them
feel more connected – to get in touch as soon as possible.
