Police continue hunt for thieves who stole a badger cub from Leics Wildlife Hospital

Leicestershire Police are continuing to hunt down heartless thieves who stole a badger cub from a Harborough animal rescue centre a week ago.

The young, female badger was taken from the Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital last Monday night after undergoing months of rehabilitation
there.

Wire cutters were used to access the enclosure – and anyone who was around the Mill Lane area of Kibworth at the time is asked to come
forward if they saw anything suspicious.

The cub and her siblings were due to be released back into the wild soon.

After scrutinising CCTV footage and other leads, officers from Market Harborough and the Leicestershire Rural Policing Team say they are
working together on the case, as their investigations continue.
