Valentine’s Thanks To Air Ambulance

Written by on 14th February 2019

A married couple who say they owe their lives to the Air Ambulance, after being flown to the same hospital in separate incidents, are the faces of the charity’s Valentine fundraising campaign.

Stacey Price suffered serious injuries when he car crashed and overturned down a hill on the A427 near Dingley in July 2011 – her husband Conor suffered severe injuries after an explosion while at work in Corby in January 2017.

The couple from Corby have shared their stories in a bid to raise awareness of the local air ambulance – which receives no government funding.

Stacey told Hfm: “We do fundraising whenever we can and donate money every month. The local air ambulance is an amazing charity and we will always be grateful for the fact it was there when our lives could have been at risk,” says Stacey.
