New Shoe Firm Base Gets Go-Ahead

A luxury shoe manufacturer has been given the go-ahead to open a new distribution base and factory shop in Market Harborough.

Loake Shoemakers, based in Kettering, will spend over £100,000 converting the former Heavenly Feet premises, on the Three Manors Retail Park, off Rockingham Road, after being granted planning permission for the venture, which will create around six jobs.

The unit has stood empty since last year, when Heavenly Feet shut, after its parent company collapsed into administration.
