Unemployment Down Across Harborough

There has been a drop in the number of people unemployed across the Harborough District.

Figures out today show 520 are seeking employment and claiming benefits – 280 men and 240 women.

This time last month the figures was 560.

The Office For National Statistics figures show the area has the second lowest unemployment rate in Leicestershire, although a hundred more people are out of work than were at this time last year.
