Two Arrested as Stolen Dog Recovered in Market Harborough

Two women have been arrested after a stolen dog was recovered and returned to its owner by police in Market Harborough.
The Staffordshire bull terrier was found inside a property on the southern estate after being taken from outside the Spar shop on Coventry Road on Saturday morning.
The dog was reunited with its owner
The women, aged 42 and 37, were arrested on suspicion of theft and enquiries are ongoing.
Officers also seized two machetes from the address.
