Two A14 Crashes Cause Delays near Welford & Catthorpe

No-one was injured after two collisions caused lengthy delays on the A14 this morning.

Two light goods vehicles were involved in a crash on the westbound carriageway between Welford and Catthorpe at around 8am, leaving a large amount of debris on the road.

Initially both carriageways were closed before a lane closure was put in place.

In a separate incident, a car left the eastbound carriageway in the same area at around 9am, adding to further delays, with one lane shut for vehicle recovery.

National Highways traffic officers dealt with both incidents.
