Trafalgar Day Parade To Be Held In Market Harborough

Over 100 Sea Cadets and volunteers will parade in Market Harborough tomorrow.
The town is hosting the annual Trafalgar Day parade for the first in around ten years and cadets from across the region will be attending.
The event commemorates the Royal Navy’s victory in the historic Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
The cadets, led by a band, will parade from Market Harborough C of E Academy on Fairfield Road, along Abbey Street and High Street to St Dionysius Church, where an inspection and memorial service will be held.
The cadets will then parade back along the same route.
Roads will be closed and parking restrictions in place to allow the parade to pass between 12.45pm and 1.15pm and then between 2.45pm and 3.15pm.
