Poppy Appeal Launches in Market Harborough

The Poppy Appeal for 2024 has launched in Market Harborough today.
The Royal British Legion is running the appeal and has stall in the Market Hall for the next fortnight, where you can buy poppies and other items to support it.
There will also be street collections and poppies are on sale in shops and businesses across the town and district.

Over 100 Union Jack flags are flying to support the appeal
Over 100 Union Jack flags have been placed above shops and businesses in the town centre by Harborough District Council to support the appeal.
The appeal raised over £30,000 in and around Market Harborough last year, which was £5,000 more than the target and the RBL is hoping to match that figures this year, thanks to the generosity of locals.
