Thieves Steal School’s Sports Balls

Little Bowden Primary School is appealing for help after thieves stole all their sports balls during the summer holidays.

Around 40 footballs, netballs and basketballs, plus other items, were taken from an outdoor storage shed after the door was removed and it was ransacked.

They were used for PE lessons and after-school clubs.

The break-in was discovered this morning when teachers and pupils returned after the break.

Anyone who can donate balls should contact the school on 01858 462528 – parents are also being asked to each give £1 towards the cost of replacing them.
