Temporary Lights Fail Again
Written by HFM News on 25th April 2019
Drivers are becoming increasingly frustrated that temporary lights on Leicester Road in Market Harborough keep going faulty.
The latest problem is this morning, with the lights at the Alvington Way junction stuck on red in all directions, leading to long tailbacks and chaos as drivers try to negotiate a way through.

There were similar problems yesterday afternoon that followed issues over the Easter weekend and earlier this month.
Lights are getting stuck or red, completely failing or only staying on green for a very short period of time.

Gas firm GTC are carrying out the roadworks near the St Luke’s Hospital – HFM has contacted them and is awaiting a response.
It’s understood the work is due to end today or tomorrow.
