House Price Growth Outpaces Wages

Harborough has made it onto a list of top 10 areas where house price growth has outpaced wages over the last two years.

It was compiled by researchers using analysis from the Halifax house price database and earnings figures from the Office For National Statistics.

The two-year increase in Harborough house prices amounts to £69,604, with net average earnings at £55,167.

A difference of just over £14,000 places Harborough 10^th on the list of areas, with locations above the district originating mainly from London and the South East of England.
