Teenagers Released On Bail After A14 Crash

Two people arrested after a woman was seriously injured in a crash on the A14 near Naseby have been released on bail.
An man aged 18 from Sutton Coldfield was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving with no insurance, while an 18-year-old woman from Walsall was held on suspicion of dangerous driving and serious assault.
The teenagers were taken into custody following the single-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon on the westbound carriageway between junctions two and one.
A white Ford 4×4 left the carriageway, travelled up an embankment and came to rest in a field, leaving the woman aged in her 30s, who was rear seat passenger, with serious injuries.
Officers from Northamptonshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit continue to appeal for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage that captured any part of the collision.
