Teenager Arrested After Drugs Raid In Market Harborough

Police have recovered a gun, machete and air pistol during a drugs raid in Market Harborough today.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, after a warrant was executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a house on Welland Park Road.
He’s currently being questioned by detectives.
Around ten officers were involved in the operation.
Inspector Gavin Drummond, of Harborough Police, said: “This arrest comes as a result of information given to us by the local community which has proved invaluable as today’s outcome proves.
“The community should feel reassured we will continue to take decisive action against those intent on dealing drugs in their local area.”
