Soldiers Who Died In WW1 Could Get Streets Named After Them

Local soldiers who died during World War I could have streets named after them to mark the centenary of the end of the conflict.

Harborough Council wants people to put forward names of family members who could be commemorated in such a way – as part of its plans to mark 100 years since the Great War ended.

A poppy motif would be included on the street signs in new developments if the move goes ahead.
