Headstones To Be Checked For Safety

Headstones are to be checked for safety in 8 churchyards and cemeteries across Harborough.
The Council says inspections will start in July, including in Great Bowden, Kibworth, Billesdon and Broughton Astley, in line with Ministry of Justice Guidelines.
Any found to be unsafe will have a notice placed next to them, although those deemed dangerous could be laid down.
