Silver Medal For Young Diver

A talented young diver from Market Harborough is celebrating coming second in a top competition.

Nine-year-old Sebastian Karanjit won silver at the Swim England National Age Group Diving Championships, after impressing judges during the four-day event in Birmingham.

The St Joseph’s Catholic Academy pupil was up against some of country’s most promising young divers across a range of disciplines.

Sebastian’s performance stood out on day three, where he delivered a series of precise and daring dives in the Group D (12 years and under) platform final.
