Seven vehicles involved in crash near Rothwell

Seven vehicles were involved in a crash near Rothwell this morning.
Emergency services were called to Lamport Road, just off the A14 at junction 3, at around 9.15am.
Northamptonshire Police said the crash involved a Mini Countryman, a Volkswagen Buzz Commerce van, a Ford Fiesta, a Yamaha motorcycle and three other vehicles.
A number of people suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The road was closed while the incident was dealt with.
