Sainsbury’s To Act Over Concerns Car Park Is ‘Dark’

Sainsbury’s has pledged to fix broken streetlights in the car park outside its store in Market Harborough as soon as possible.

Customers have complained that some parts of the car park off Springfield Street are very dark, which is posing a safety risk.

Harborough District Council, which manages the car park, has also called on the company to deal with the matter.

A Sainsbury’s spokesperson told HFM: “Customer safety is our highest priority.

“We are replacing the car park lights at our Market Harborough store as soon as possible and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
