Rugby Club To Launch New Women’s Squad

Market Harborough Rugby Club is launching a new women’s squad – over 25 years since it last had one.
Training starts next Tuesday, with touch rugby leading up to the start of the new season in September.
Friendly touch rugby fixtures and a couple of fun training events will also be held over the summer.
The club wants to provide an opportunity for women new to the game, or who fancy putting their boots back on, as well as somewhere for youngsters in its thriving girls teams to progress to.
David Henderson will be the Head Coach for the women’s side and spoke to Hfm
People can find out more about the new team tomorow evening, when a presentation evening takes place at the Rugby Club on Northampton Road at 7pm.
