Rare Solar Eclipse Captured Over Market Harborough

Amazing photographs of a partial eclipse have been captured in the skies above Market Harborough today.
David Letts snapped the moment the moon passed between the earth and the sun, from the back of his shop, Harborough Lights on Manor Walk.
Despite cloud cover making seeing the phenomenon difficult, his pictures clearly show a third of the sun blacked out by the moon.
David, who took up photography as a hobby, used a cardboard box so he could see the screen of his camera to take the fantastic pictures.
