Routine Appointments Suspended At Medical Centre

All GP appointments at Market Harborough Medical Centre will now initially take place over the phone because of the Coronvirus.
The surgery is also suspending all routine appointments, for things like blood pressure checks, until further notice.
It is taking the action following new government guidance in a bid to keep patients away from the surgery reduce the spread of Covid-19.
Doctor Jon Crowley, who expects people in Market Harborough to get Cronavirus,spoke to Hfm:
People with symptoms of Coronvirus should not phone or go to the medical centre, instead they should go into self isolation for seven days. People with greater concerns should call the 111 NHS number – that service will also provide sick notes for patients who require them.
