Rotary SwiMarathon To Return For 2026!
Written by HFM News on 9th January 2026
Plans have been announced for this year’s Rotary SwiMarathon in Market Harborough and you’re being urged to get involved.
More than twenty teams of swimmers are already signed up for the event at Harborough Leisure Centre over the weekend of 7 and 8 March.
Teams of up to six people swim in relays for 50 minutes, with last year’s youngest swimmer aged five and the oldest over 80.

Rotarians and supporters at the launch event
The event, organised by the Rotary Club of Market Harborough, has raised over £90,000 for local charities since first being held, while providing a fun day for the whole community.
HFM will once again be supporting the Rotary Club by providing poolside music and making announcements during the event.
New this year, swimmers will receive a reusable bag made by Morsbags, alongside certificates and trophies for top teams.
Anyone can enter a team, and local businesses are also being urged to sponsor the event.
Rotarian Carole Baldam, who is organising the swim team entries, spoke to HFM:
