Renewed Hope For A6 Kibworth Bypass

The Transport Secretary has hinted the A6 through Kibworth will be included in a new Major Roads Network.
If the section of road from Leicester to the A14 is taken back into government control, it would see it eligible for hundreds of thousands of pounds for improvements and potential funding for the much needed bypass.
Chris Grayling responded to a question from Harborough MP Neil O’Brien in the House of Commons yesterday, about the continued problem of congestion and poor air quality in the village:
