Re-Appeal For Witnesses A Week On From Fatal Crash In Market Harborough

Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses a week on from a fatal crash in Market Harborough.

An elderly woman died after being hit by a car in the car park of the Lidl supermarket on Kettering Road, just before midday last Friday.

Another pedestrian, a man, was also injured.

Officers still want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened as well as drivers with dash cam footage which may assist with the on-going investigation.

Detective Constable Kasie Carter, from Leicestershire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: ““Were you in or near the supermarket car park on Friday morning?

“Did you witness the collision or did you see the vehicle mentioned or the pedestrians prior to the incident? Do you have any dashcam footage from the area which could help us with our enquiries?”
