Princess Diana Letter To Be Auctioned In Market Harborough
Written by HFM News on 11th September 2018
A thankyou letter written by Princess Diana a month before she died will be auctioned in Market Harborough next week.
It was sent to a personal protection officer, following a holiday with Princes William and Harry to St Tropez in Southern France in July 1997, where they stayed with Dodi Fayed.
The Princess was attracting world-wide media attention at the time, because of her newly formed relationship with him.
The letter – on Kensington Palace headed notepaper – and also signed by the Princes – is expected to fetch up to £2,000 when it goes under the hammer, just a few weeks after the 21st anniversary of Diana’s death.
It is being sold on behalf of a local person, who wants to remain anonymous.
