Police ‘Reassurance Patrols’ Outside Market Harborough Schools
Written by HFM News on 25th November 2020
Police are carrying out ‘reassurance patrols’ near Market Harborough secondary schools after recent ‘stranger danger incidents.’
Two girls in Year 8 at Welland Park Academy were followed by a man in a van while walking to school from the Ashley Way estate last week.
That incident followed another where a man followed a Year 10 girl near the school on foot.
Officers are patrolling in the area of Welland Park Academy and Robert Smyth Academy at the start and end of the school day.
