Police Get ‘Multiple Calls’ About Large Gatherings At Little Bowden Rec

Harborough Police are urging youngsters to be mindful lockdown rules still prevent large gatherings.

‘Multiple calls’ were made by concerned members of the public, about large groups at Little Bowden Recreation Ground on Saturday night.

When officers arrived the youths fled.

Police say they will continue to visit the park as part of regular, routine patrols and urge everyone to continue following the current Government guidance around gatherings.

The recreation ground has suffered from anti-social behaviour in recent weeks – last weekend a number of newly-planted trees were destroyed by vandals.
