Police Carry Out ‘Reconstruction’ After Fatal Crash

Police investigating a fatal crash on the A5199 have carried out a reconstruction of the collision.
A 22-year-old male pedestrian died in hospital after suffering serious injuries when he was struck by a lorry near Kilby on January 17th.
The stretch of road between Kilby and Kilby Bridge was closed last night to allow for the investigation work to take place.
A 53-year-old man arrested at the time of the collision was released under investigation.
He was held on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
