A herd of cows escaped from their field and went on a late night walk in Market Harborough last night.
Around 15 were spotted strolling down the middle of the A4304 between Lubenham and Market Harborough just after 9pm and had reached Lubenham Hill when Police caught up with them.
Officers say they were quickly able to ‘moooo-ve’ the animals on and get them to a place of safety.
They joked the cows and calves were advised about current Covid-19 regulations, of not gathering outside in groups of more than six.
