New Poetry and Verse Initiative

A Poet Laureate and a Junior Poet Laureate are set to be formally appointed for Harborough District.
The honorary roles will celebrate local culture with poetry and provide a voice for the community through verse.
The titles will be decided as part of bi-annual competitions run by Wingates Gallery in Market Harborough – in association with the Creative Harborough group – with the first to launch next month.
