Plan For New Roebuck Pub Revealed

The building of a new pub in Market Harborough is a step closer with a planning application being handed in.

Costing between £2.5m and £3m, it will be similar in design to the former Roebuck off Rockingham Road, which was demolished last month following the devastating fire in September.

How the new pub will look

Brewery Marston’s is hoping to receive planning permission from Harborough Council for the same site, so building work on the new pub can begin in the New Year.

The company hope it will be open for business by September 2020, when 45 full and part-time jobs will be re-created.
