Investigation After Area Of Car Park ‘Sinks’

An investigation is to get underway to find out why an area of the car park off Springfield Street in Market Harborough has sunk.

The section of the car park has now been cordoned off after concerns were expressed by motorists.

Harborough Council says it is not responsible for the area of land, as the car park has been leased to a private company, who is responsible for the maintenance, but has been advised an investigation into what has caused the subsidence will begin on Monday.
