No Further Action Against ‘Petrol Bomb’ Suspects

No further action is to be taken against three people suspected of involvement in the alleged petrol bombing of a caravan in Desborough last month.

A man aged 44 from the town was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 22-year-old man and 23-year-old woman from Desborough on suspicion of arson, following the disturbance at the Spinney Close travellers’ site, off Braybrooke Road, in the early hours of May 13th.

They were released by Police under investigation after being questioned

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police told Hfm: “Due to a lack of evidence and official witness accounts, the suspects in this case have been released with no further action.”

No-one was injured in the incident.
