Elderly Man Dies Despite Efforts To Save Him

Emergency services are thanking members of the public who assisted after an elderly man collapsed in Market Harborough yesterday lunchtime.
Despite their efforts and those of paramedics, he sadly could not be saved, and was pronounced dead at the scene on a pathway off Dallison Close, adjacent to Harborough Town Football Club.

Harborough Police have tweeted to say they supported as paramedics they battled to save the man but added: ”Sadly despite extensive efforts we didn’t win this one.
“Our thoughts are with the family.
“Thank you to all those who helped and supported us.”
Officers say the man’s death is not suspicious and they are preparing a file for the coroner.
