New Planter Takes Pride of Place

Summer visitors to Market Harborough town centre are being welcomed by a brand new planter.

Funded by Harborough District Council, it was a joint effort between the Rotary Club of Market Harborough and Harborough In Bloom – who assembled it, oiled the wood and planted it up.

The new container – which has its own reservoir – can be found outside the Old Town Hall on High Street.

It replaces an old planter there that was disintegrating and had no onboard watering kit.
