New Plans To Transform Derelict Site In Market Harborough
Written by HFM News on 10th July 2020
New plans have been announced to build 79 flats on a derelict part of the former Harborough Rubber site in Market Harborough.
The proposal includes three, four and five-storey apartment buildings, on the land at the corner of St Mary’s Road and Kettering Road, and the conversion of the historic former flour mill into apartments.

How the new development would look
Northamptonshire-based Hazelton Homes is behind the plan for the area adjacent to the River Welland, which replaces a previous approved housing scheme that was never progressed.
Harborough Council put an offer in to buy the land last year, when it was put up for sale, but then withdrew it.
A planning application for the new scheme has been lodged with the Council.
