All-Set For On-Line Music Fest!

The Great Bowden Music Fest begins tonight – online!

Twelve concerts featuring local, national and international musicians, playing a wide variety of music, are being shown on YouTube over the next four day.

It coincides with the dates originally planned for events in the village, which can’t take place because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Violinist Vanessa White is performing and has helped put it all together – she told Hfm they were determined the festival would take place, albeit different to normal:

There is no entrance fee or tickets but there will be an opportunity for people to make a donation, and the proceeds will be split between the musicians, many of whom rely on performing fees for their livelihood.

People can donate on-line or in person by cheque or through a collection tin at Weltons in Great Bowden.
