New Homes For Farndon Fields Estate

The go-ahead was given last night for new homes to be built on Market Harborough’s Farndon Fields estate.
Planning permission for the development of 28 houses off Angell Drive was approved by Harborough Council.
Some near-by residents objected, saying when they bought their homes they were told the area would remain as a green space amenity.
Meanwhile, plans to build eight new ‘affordable’ homes off Leicester Road in Market Harborough were also approved last night.
Waterloo Housing Group is behind the development which will be linked to a scheme approved last year for 17 houses in the place of the ‘Rosehill’ building, that houses flats considered no longer fit for purpose.
