New Health Secretary To Hold Talks On Future Of Hospital

The new Health Secretary has agreed to hold talks about the future of Feilding Palmer Hospital in Lutterworth.
An in-patient ward at the community hospital was closed last year, promoting concerns the site could shut altogether, although the hospital was brought back into use as a Covid-19 vaccination clinic.
Sajid Javid responded to a question from South Leicestershire MP Alberto Costa in the House of Commons:
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, who run the hospital, did not wish to comment.
