New Comedy Festival To Bring Shows To Harborough District
Written by HFM News on 4th November 2026
Shows will be staged in the Harborough District as part of a new-look Leicester comedy festival.
The Independent Comedy Festival replaces the previous event, which was cancelled after its organisers ceased trading, leaving performers unpaid.
More than 600 shows are planned as part of the new festival, although there are currently none scheduled for Market Harborough.

Previous festivals have included performances at Harborough Market, and organisers say it is not too late to arrange a show or two in the town.
Stand-up comedian Alex Hylton is co-ordinating the new event with promoter Colin Bowles and says he is proud to be bringing the festival back and offering performers a fresh start.
Alex spoke to HFM about the new festival and the shows planned across the Harborough district, adding that there is still time to organise performances in Market Harborough.
Tickets are now on sale for shows across the festival.
